Teach Children How to Code Instead of Buying Them a Phone

The generation now is growing up in an era where technology is everywhere. Other than in the 20th Century when having a phone was considered a luxury, today, almost everyone has a mobile device since the costs of purchasing one have greatly reduced. The advent of easy access technological devices has proven that programming in the 21st century is a skill generation now should be taught to be able to adapt to the times.

Coding on a smartphone can be done on Applications available on Google Play or the Apple Store. However, not all mobile devices have the right ergonomics that can be able to support learning code using the phone or tablet. Though, there are tutorials that can be installed to assist in learning code.

The app supports the PHP, CSS, JS, HTML, and JSON languages, and you can manage and collaborate on remote projects using FTP, FTPS, SFTP, and WebDAV.

It offers several features you might expect — such as code highlighting, code completion, line numbering, and previews — but it also includes some cool features that earn the app its place on this list. They include a search and replace function (which includes regular expressions), error checking, and perhaps most enticingly, automatic one-click code beautification.
